A truly vibrant city, Denver bristles with culture and art whether it be in the one-of-a-kind Denver Art Museum or through the multitudes of street performers and lively vendors. A pleasure to experience from sunrise to sunset. Wildlife Always preferring the outdoors to the indoors, I have a natural affinity for the photography and interaction with wildlife, whether it be in a local zoo or deep in the wild. Infrared The majority of these photos have been taken with a Canon Rebel XT converted to IR, however a minority of them were recorded using a Hoya-R72 IR filter. IR creates interesting interpretations of everyday views, with glowing white foilage and mysterious, dark skies. Night This gallery features a series of photographs that all have one thing in common-they are taken in low-light, often requiring the use long, multi-second exposures. Flora Being raised among a constantly growing and invading ever-important garden certainly influences the tabula rasa. A collection of all things plant-related are presented here. People Nothing portrays feeling better than the human eye; a truth that is made certain in this series of photographs of different shapes and types and sizes of people. Scenic The scenic outdoors is the subject with the power of commanding emotion among its viewers, often due to the mysterious complexities and also simplities of mother nature. Underwater Nothing is more satisfying than a successful combination of two beloved hobbies. Underwater photography poses great challenges, but produces great rewards. I enjoy diving and shooting in locations varying from the Rolesville Fantasy Lake Rock Quarry near Raleigh, NC, to the distant reaches of the Red Sea, Egypt, and everywhere in between. HDR These HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos were created by combining three exposures to enhance details in the shadows and highlights. Weddings Weddings are beautiful occasions, and it is always a privilege to capture the memories of a wedding through my photography.
